A Scottish Artist inspired by the land and it's people

The Story and Mission Behind Hbrucedesigns

Angus based, Hbrucedesigns trained at Duncan of Jordanstone (University of Dundee) as an Illustrator and Printmaker. 

She is interested in the beauty of the land she grew up in. Often depicting scenes that she sees everyday and could be regarded as overlooked or taken for granted. She actively stops to observe, document and create imagery that is of that place in that place. Visiting her own landscapes time and time again - always with a new perspective.

Alongside her love of the land is her life work. Studies (often self portraits) exploring the nature of a changing body as it ages.
